Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Avocado uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
Essential cookies
We use one strictly necessary cookie: an authentication session cookie set by our login system (Better Auth). It keeps you signed in between page visits and cannot be turned off.
| Name | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in | 30 days |
Analytics cookies (optional — consent required)
With your consent, we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) for privacy-respecting product analytics: which pages you visit, which features you use, and session replays used to find usability problems. Session replays are recorded with input fields and sensitive content (sign-in codes, email addresses, promo codes, payment fields and API keys) masked — we never capture that content. These cookies are set only if you accept; until then nothing is stored on your device and no analytics data is collected in your browser.
| Name | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
| ph_… (PostHog) | Product analytics & session replay | up to 1 year |
Your choice
When you first visit we show a banner asking whether to allow analytics cookies. You can change your decision at any time here:
Declining leaves only the essential sign-in cookie active. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in.
What we don't use
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, ad networks, Google Analytics, or Meta Pixel. We do not sell your data.
